REVISION 8/19/09:

Well, here we are more than a year after I started this little blog. I’ve taken several months off from blogging and realized that I really miss it! I miss boring you to tears entertaining you with the daily antics of my life. I’m still here and I’m still me – I love to cook, love to sew, read, craft, etc…  We’ve added 2 new members to our little family (Belle, our 1 year old chihuahua mix and Bogey, the 10 year old lab who is a self-proclaimed lap dog) and have moved into a new house, but we’re still the same girls… “The Three Musketeers” as Abby calls us.

Come join me on this journey. Where are we going? NO IDEA! But at least we’ll have fun on the way there…

6/222/08:

I am a 30 year old mom of 2 lovely little girls: Abby (8/30/02) & Maggie (1/31/06). I work full time as creative supervisor and graphic designer and it’s hard to fit everything in! Between my job, being a hands-on mother, cooking, cleaning (not so much) and taking care of 2 little ones… I barely have time to breathe – much less relax!

I started my other blog, Our Crazy Wonderful Life, for my out-of-town family and friends, as a way they could keep up with us on a day-to-day basis… but I feel like now is the time for something new. This is a turning point in my life and I feel like I should begin a new chapter (as my Dad would say)… This blog is a journey of me “finding myself” in the midst of my ending marriage, work, kids and life in general.

Hi! I have followed your blog and first saw you on Babycenter. I have some questions as I am about to start a new chapter in my life with 2 kids as well. Thanks!

    Hey, Laura,

I don’t ‘know from blogs’ – just trying to get in touch. Haven’t been able to reach your Dad or you, or Anne. Called Anne a couple of times around the time of your Mom’s b/d and missed her. After reading in your blog that Margaret was ill (I used to call her on your Mom’s b/d), I archived the obituaries and saw that she had died in July.

The girls are adorable and so are you, for that matter!!! I read that if you had a million, you’d RETIRE your Dad and Ann – that’s so sweet.

I don’t know your address or email or where you work – - – - you’re just out there in cyberspace. Hope you can shoot an email. I love some of your favorite places………you’re so creative.

Did you decide whether to buy or make your stockings and/or tree skirt?

    love,
    jane PS Today is Doug’s 66th b/d and tomorrow Carol Ann’s 40th

Hi! Sorry to bother you again. I had replied to your email but never heard back from you. My main concern is how the kids handle it if I am the one to move out? I would just like experience from a mom thats been there… Thanks!
